The VF10KBLUENG is a natural gas, vent free, blue flame heater that produces 10,000 BTU's of efficient, comfortable heat. This safe, clean-burning heater has a low-high heat control, low oxygen shut off sensor and burns 99.9% efficient. This unit does not require electricity and is easily installed as a wall mount unit or as a free standing unit with the included feet kit. This CSA certified heater will heat up to 300 square feet and comes with a limited two year warranty.

This would be a five star review if the description were accurate.
The description says it has a thermostat. There is none. It simply has Low and High, and you can get some variations in between. It does not regulate itself to maintain a desired temperature, as would be indicated by the description "thermostat".
To be honest, though... Based on the price, I pretty much figured that it would not have one, and it does what I expected it to do.
I think the description should be amended.
I am ordering the much more expensive 20k and 30k versions of this heater. I expect they will actually have a thermostat... hopefully.

Best constructed, best control knob system, best set of legs, best heat transfer.
I hooked it up at one end of a small apartment and it transferred the heat easily through-out the apartment - even to a shower room just off the hallway.

I bought this small 10,000 BTU ventless space heater to keep a small sunporch warm. It does the job in Ohio in early December, set on LOW. No problems with the product, or Amazon. Good value for the cost. PS - I'm using "well head" gas from my private gas well, which the manual say's is a no-no, but no problems... a nice blue flame. Of course the gas well is routed through a regulator and 3 vapor seperators before entering the heater. My wife just popped in and said to tell everyone that she's very happy.
